Daya Turangga Sarana Bangun, P.T. Tunneling has in its possession, jacking equipment to jack steel casing, concrete pipe, or composite pipe ranging in size from 17 " to 42 " in diameter. We have tunneling equipment including microtunneling equipment and material handling equipment for larger diameter tunnels if required, in addition to all equipment necessary to tunnel under pressure.
Daya Turangga Sarana Bangun, P.T. Tunneling / Microtunneling services can provide a project from excavation of jacking/ receiving pits to installation of the tunnel, including carrier piping if required. We have all of the equipment necessary to solid sheet or shore shafts at our disposal.
Pipe jacking can be described as pushing or jacking a pipe into the ground with some type of jack. The soil at the front, or face, of the pipe is loosened and removed through the pipe by some means. After the first pipe is jacked forward, the jacks are retracted and another pipe is positioned to be jacked. As the soil is removed, the pipe is jacked forward. This process continues until the pipeline is complete. In the early years this was done by manpower.
